This roast comes from the hindquarters of the cow also known as the Round Tip Roast.
Sirloin Tip Roast is best for braising or stewing. Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a Dutch Oven, brown the roast on all sides. Remove and add yellow onions and garlic cloves. Cook until translucent. Add the sirloin tip roast back to the pot with carrots, beef stock, red wine, thyme, and rosemary. Season with pepper. Cover and cook in the oven for about 3 hours.
Sirloin Tip Roast can also be used for kabobs.
