Believe it or not, beef tongue has a mild flavor similar to other cuts of beef. Beef tongue tacos are a great way to introduce this cut to your family and friends.
Simmer the beef tongue for a few hours in a broth of your choice with tomatoes, garlic, and onion. Adding enough liquid throughout the cooking process will ensure the tongue does not dry out.
After the tongue is fully cooked, add cooking fat to a pan. Slice up the tongue into bite-sized pieces, add to the pan, and let brown on all sides.
