Lamb Coming This Winter

Feels like Winter this week with 6-inches of snow at Burke’s Garden. The kids couldn’t wait to get out of school to go sledding down the hill. On the farm, this means the animals eat more food to stay warm and water troughs need to have ice broken each day.
The ground is slippery and so everyone is moving with caution especially the cows. We began feeding hay and reviewing our about strategies to keep everyone warm as the forecast predicts a dip to 5 degrees on Sunday night.
We have been butchering and restocking. Most of our soy-free pastured pork cuts are back in stock as well as our soy-free turkey and soy-free chicken products. We now have a soy-free and corn-free chicken options.
We should have whole chickens, chicken broth, and turkey broth ready for purchase by the end month.
We will be butchering our Burke’s Garden 100% Grass Fed and Finished, never vaccinated, cleaned in apple cider vinegar beef in January.
Click here to email us for details and to place your order your 1/8, ¼, ½, and whole beef. Place your 50% deposit down now to reserve and the balance before we ship or you pick up in February.
We will be butchering lamb in January. We hope to have many of your favorite lamb products in stock in February. Our lamb is pasture-raised, humanely treated, no antibiotics, no hormones, no steroids, no vaccines, clean with apple cider vinegar, and this is the big one, NO antiparasitics.
The majority of sheep farmers give their sheep dewormers. We don’t do this. Clean meat, raised and finished on 100% Burke’s Garden Farm chemical-free grass. It’s no wonder we wholesale to several other premier grass fed farm stores as ours is one of the cleanest and healthiest lamb meats available.
We still have a few whole turkey’s left. Order soon if you want to have it in time for Christmas.
Please note: We will not be shipping any orders Christmas week. Any orders place after December 20th, will arrive at your home on Jan 1st or 2nd.
